BRIEF Nirvana Solutions is a New York based financial software company that provides real-time portfolio management solutions to hedge funds, prime brokers, and fund administrators. The Nirvana Solutions team approached me to redesign the interface and user experience as well as the visual design for both online and iPad platforms in collaboration with Nirvana’s in-house programming and web team.

The original version of the site included huge buttons at the top of the page making it hard for users to navigate and a long page scrollbar made it especially hard to read data. |

After working independently for two weeks, I presented the Nirvana Solutions team with a color-printed booklet of redesign sketches and strategies for the team to review. |

I restructured the left hand side to be the main menu/column for all information instead of having multiple menus as there was before.
The visual design also highlighted stock analytics by organizing the information using different colors. |

Also enhanced were visual diagrams and tables. |
